About the Trainer
Mallory Giebink grew up riding and showing mainly Arabian, and Half Arabian Horses in the saddle seat division on a national level, but has experience in Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackneys, Frisians and Dutch Harness Horses, as well as experience outside of her main seat in Hunt Seat, Western, Native Costume, Show Hack, and even Speed and Action. This wide variety of breeds and disciplines gave her a well rounded background that makes it easy for her to ride and train just about any horse.
Mallory gained experience in training and instruction at a young age, running horse camps and teaching lessons, apprenticeships with various reputable trainers and later getting an Equine Science degree from the notable William Woods University, where she traveled the country working for some of the best trainers.
“I am passionate about giving everyone the same opportunity I had as a child to experience the unique wonders of riding and showing horses. I give the credit of my successes in life to the lessons I learned from these amazing animals. Now I get to follow my dream by giving children and adults experiences on horseback that they will remember for a lifetime, and for that I am forever grateful.”
Mallory and Marcelo have been married since June 2nd, 2018 and have moved across the country together. Mallory being from Michigan and Marcelo from Wisconsin, both were happy to escape the northern winters and decided the moderate climate of North Carolina was just right. Together they enjoy spending time on the farm with their animals, having a bonfire with their friends and watching a good movie.
